We usually recommend starting with once per day as part of a normal exercise program.
That said — some of our users with aggressive health goals train on LiveO2 up to 3x per day. These users report proportionally accelerated results.
We always advise starting easy and working up. Your starting workout should be consistent with your level of basic fitness. If you haven’t worked out in a while, our normal beginner workout is 15 minutes or less using mostly oxygen.
As you get stronger, you can increase the intensity, frequency and duration of your training sessions.
Overtraining with LiveO2 is unlikely. Most users reach and maintain extraordinary fitness levels with 5 sessions per week which are become mostly hypoxic (-O2) with brief oxygen recovery periods (+O2) of a few seconds.
When you have a “poor” LiveO2 training session it usually means your body is fighting an infection and your immune system is using energy.
An exception to this is from very aggressive hypoxic training (More than 30 minutes on ‑O2) — if your performance begins to fall-off then take a day or two off to recover.
