Reservoir Fill Times

This tutorial shows what to expect at various fill times for your reservoir.

  • 0 Minutes — Empty
  • 45 minutes — soft fill — sufficient for most users for 15 minute mostly oxygen workout. Approximately 450 Liters = 10 LPM x 45 Minutes
  • 90 Minutes — Hard fill — maximum capacity approximately 900 Liters = 10 LPM x 90 Minutes
This video illustrates different fill levels for the reservoir. The gross capacity of the reservoir is approximately 900 Liters which is a 90 minute fill time. Most users will use about 450 Liters, which is available after 45 minutes of fill.

The fill level required for you to use LiveO2 only depends on the amount of oxygen you need. If you are only doing a 5‑minute session you probably only need to fill the reservoir for about 15 minutes.

When the reservoir is empty stop. You will normally hear the reservoir “crinkle” before it becomes completely empty.

Quick Fill-time Tips

  1. Oxygen control handle in ‑O2 (fill position)
  2. Oxygen flow from air separator at 10 LPM
  3. Confirm the zipper drain/inspection port fully closed
